I had a great time hanging out with Rachel and her mom while shooting her senior pictures! I scouted out a place at French Park in Cincinnati with some beautiful flowers. Next week we’re going to follow up with another shoot at Alt Park and hopefully it won’t be as hot! Love your beautiful eyes Rachel:))

Had an awesome shoot with Ellen from Lakota West High School today! She had her locations picked out and what outfits she wanted to wear at each location. Ellen loves the country look and I loved the spots she found where we shot some beautiful images! Her mom also came along and was a big help with driving and she also had some great creative ideas! Ellen had a fun, bubbly personality which made me love my job even more! Here’s a sneak peek of some of your senior pictures:)

Had a great session with Christina another beautiful high school senior from Northern Kentucky! We went to a few spots in the Cincinnati area where I got some different shots of Christina in her summer clothes. She also wants some senior pictures in her fall outfits so we plan to do another shoot when the trees start to change color. I’m going to find some cool spots where we can get more fun shots!

These are some sneak peeks from a photo shoot with Shannon for Notre Dame High School in Northern Kentucky. I went out the night before the shoot to find some locations and I was amazed at some of the cool places I found. Shannon was willing to try anything including getting dirty from a railroad track I found near the stadium. Luckily I always carry wipes in my car:) Although we couldn’t get some pictures on an actual railroad track we plan on going to a track in Ft. Mitchell to shoot a few more pictures! Thanks Shannon for your patience and your mothers while driving around to all the spots!

Here are some images of my shoot with Melissa! She modeled for me several times while I was shooting my portfolio for school. Last July I got some great shots of her in Covington, Kentucky. One of my favorite shots of her was against a very cool concrete wall and with just the perfect light hitting her hair and a reflector to give her some nice catch lights – it was a beautiful image of Melissa:) I was also excited that it won me an Achievement Award with the Professional Photographers of Ohio.
For Melissa’s senior pictures I knew I had to find something very unique because of her unique style that I love. When I found this mosaic wall I knew it would be the perfect location to shoot her pictures. Melissa loved it and we got some great shots! We also went to the Vinoklet Winery in Cincinnati where we got some more beautiful images of Melissa!

What can I say…Lauren and Mike are an amazing couple and I was honored that they asked me to photograph their wedding! They were married in Glendale which is a historic city in Cincinnati area and had some very cool spots for shooting in the village. The reception was at the Glendale Lyceum which also is rich in history. Thanks again Lauren and Mike! It was a real pleasure working with the two of you:))

My niece Katie and her boyfriend Nick called me about doing some family pictures of Nick and his sisters for a Mother’s Day gift. We went to Alt Park in Cincinnati where we found some great places to take pictures! The overlook at Alt Park was a great place to do a fun candid shot. We also went to the Pavilion where we found tons of beautiful petunias spread throughout the waterfall. It was simply beautiful and the perfect evening for doing family pictures! I had a great time with Nick and his sisters and also my niece Katie who was also in some of the pictures:) Nick’s mom is getting a sneak peek at some of the pictures to help her decide. What a great looking family she has!

I had a great time in Mt. Airy, Cincinnati doing fashion photography of Emily! She’s a great model and really knows how to work the camera! Thanks Emily!

Here is a sneak peek of some senior pictures I did with Erica! We went down the road to a near by old farm house where the owner had a donkey in the barn. We took some pictures inside the barn and then walked around to the outside and before you knew it there was the donkey standing at the fence waiting for some attention. And yes that’s what he wanted! Erica and her friend Jess started petting him and he was very happy. Poor guy…guess he just needed a friend:)

You two are just perfect together:)

Tori was so much fun to work with and a great personality to boot! She never had a chance to get her senior pictures done so we just went down the street to the neighbors and found some neat spots. Tori made it very easy because she really knew how to work the camera with her bubbly personality and sassy looks! Hope you had as much fun as I did! Thanks!!!

I entered the two images below and was so excited when I found out I won awards for both of them! The first one won an Honorable Mention and the second image won an Award of Achievement!

Melissa is from my portfolio shoot and we went out last Saturday and did some fun shots after the big snow! She has a fun style when it comes to clothing and I always love what Melissa comes to photograph in!

I had fun going out with 4 juniors from Roger Bacon. We went to downtown Hamilton and shot some fun shots. Jess was a real trooper weathering the cold without a coat! All you guys were great and I glad you had a good time.

My husbands beautiful niece Sara and her handsome husband tied the knot 4 days after I graduated from the Ohio Institute of Photography in Dayton. I was so excited because it was the first wedding I would shoot after graduating and Sara was such a beautiful bride! Even though it was a long day taking their wedding pictures it was well worth it. Everybody had a great time at the barn reception and all the decorations were just beautiful. Congratulation Sara and Andy!

I started shooting for portfolio with Melissa. I had never met her and was pleasantly surprised. She looked awesome and her hair and make-up were perfect! I got some great shots with Melissa and an “Elite Gallery Award” for one of her images! Thanks Melissa and see you in 2010!

Little Willy…had a lot of fun doing these pictures for my sister of her youngest child. Will has such a great personality and just knows how to work the camera!
